Who can use this service?

Världens bibliotek is open to anyone in Sweden. You need to register with your email address, and physically be in the country.

You can read and listen as much as you want at Världens bibliotek. Wherever you are, whenever you want.

The service Världens bibliotek is a part of the libraries of Sweden, financed by taxes, and therefore free for you to use. 

The languages in the World Library

There are ebooks and audio books in the major migrant languages talked in Sweden in this digital library. We want to increase the number of languages offered as the services evolves and grows.

Where can I find print books?

You can find books in many languages in all public libraries in Sweden. Visit your local library to borrow physical books. There is also a large collection of books in various languages at Internationella biblioteket

Who runs this service?

Världens bibliotek is run by Malmö City Library. The service is funded by The Swedish Arts Council, as a part of the Stärkta bibliotek (Strengthened Libraries) initiative and by The National Library of Sweden. The service was created in co-operation between the national libraries of Denmark, Norway and Sweden during 2016-2019.
